New Capitol Building

Cora learned a little about Louisiana History. She saw where Huey P. Long died in the "New Capitol Building." From the observation deck she could see the Mississippi River winding around. [Social Studies]

There are 50 steps that lead up to the capitol. One for each state engraved with the state name and admission year. [Social Studies]
